these two

love them.  love, love, love.
jared and charla were in ohio this week so we were able to meet up in cleveland yesterday and spend some time together.
we haven't seen them since right after the cash and slade were born so it was so good to see them.
we had big plans to walk around crocker park and then get some food.
we first checked out the north olmstead mall to see if they had a buckle store (jared had a gift card).
after one quick lap, we realized they did not, so we headed toward crocker park.
on the way we decided we were getting hungry so after a little debating, we agreed to eat at carrabba's (oh how i love thee).
we get to carrabba's, notice that it is quite full, and ask what the wait is.
2 hours!
forget it.  head next door to outback.
90 minutes!
bleh on that.  head back to crocker park.  stop in brio.
2 hour wait!
next to cheesecake factory.  if the wait is over an hour, the next stop will be mcdonald's.
45 minutes.  ok.  put in our name, get a little buzzer thingy, want to walk around the stores and realize that they are all closed.  i thought for sure that they would be open past 6:00 on new year's eve, but obviously i was wrong.
we go into the cheesecake factory and end up waiting about an hour and fifteen minutes before we get seated.  but we had lots of good conversation so it wasn't too bad.
food was great.  corey had to send his back which was a bummer, but it came back good.
after dinner, we left the cheesecake factory to have some dessert at friendly's.  they don't have any near them in georgia and it's been a long time since i have had their sundaes.  love the reese's pieces sundae (with extra peanut butter).
mmm....delicious!
then it was time to part.  i was so very sad.  i miss them so much.
but we each had to go rescue our sitters from our kids.
(thank you sooo much for watching the kids for us, grandma & grandpa d.  it was the best gift you could possibly give us.  it was so nice to be able to focus on jared and charla and not have the distractions of the kids.  we so greatly appreciated it!)
we got home with just enough time to watch the ball drop and then crashed in bed.

jared & charla, we love you and miss you already!

and here are some kid pics:
(from the other night at grandma & grandpa d's house)
Happy New Year!!

I love the Oreo Brownie Sundae at Friendly's. Actually that would be so awesome right now! I must admit that I find it funny that you left Cheesecake Factory in search of dessert :)
