one thing that i love about summer is all the festivals and street fairs that go on. warren happens to have quite a few that celebrate the local heritage. there was a greek festival a couple of weeks ago that i missed, but i was able to go the the italian american festival today. hurray!!
corey took a (very) brief break from working so we could go sample the food. thanks, honey!
so many yummy possibilities...
this is a group of men playing the italian game morra.
have you ever seen anyone playing it?
it's crazy. they are yelling loudly while throwing fingers at
each other trying to guess what the sum will be.
it's like the italian version of rock, paper, scissors, but much more heated and serious.
this is how we got the kids around.
jagger and cash in the stroller, slade in the pack on papa's back.
this pack is what i have been using to carry slade around in the house.
he loves it and has taken a few naps in it, and it helps free up my hands.
cash being happy and cute, as usual
enjoying ravioli (it is the italian festival after all)
why do i find it necessary to open my mouth like i'm eating when i'm feeding the kids?!
i look crazy :)
these are the essentials:
everything else can vary, but these items are a must from every fair i attend:
what is it about fair fries that makes them so good? i think it's the extra grease...
delicious fresh squeezed lemonade
and a huge heavily sugar coated elephant ear
all the food was delicious and it was nice to get out for a quick walk around downtown :)
canfield fair is next on my list!

So glad Slade loves the backpack..Kristen was carried around in a Snugli the first three months of her life so I think Slade must take after her :) From the pics it looks like it was a beautiful fair day!!!
So glad Mama and Papa take every opportunity to get out as a family to do fun things.
