back to the daily grind

going back to work after a holiday weekend is just so hard.
bleh.
it doesn't make any sense, but my 4-day weeks feel a million times longer than a normal week. why is that?
but i made it through the day and i was happy to come home.
even though cash and slade have colds right now and are a wee bit cranky and clingy.
summer colds are the worst. it just doesn't seem right to have runny noses and congestion and coughs and fevers when the sun is shining so brightly.

and snot bubbles are gross.
