i heart target

target is one of my favorite places.  i get all excited about going because i know i will find some wonderful treasures.  they have great home decor, cute kid clothes, fabulous shoes, and stylish clothes for corey & me as well.  i especially love their global bazaar that they have every february.  i adore their clearance sections; you can get some really great deals!  gosh, i could go on and on about the wonders of target :)

today i had to run some errands so i made a quick stop (oh who am i kidding, it's never really "quick") to pick up some essentials (formula and bottle liners) and came away with so much more (like always).

i am a huge fan of candles.  i like turning all the lights off and just sitting in the warm candlelight.  i like all the different sizes and shapes and colors and smells.  i like the way it looks when the wax spills over and starts a trail down the sides.  we have so many candles in our house, it's ridiculous, and still i want more.  i love it.  so imagine my delight when i turn the corner and spy a clearance endcap full of candles!!  i picked up a handful and am thinking about going back to get some more soon :)

i have recently become drawn to lanterns.  something about them is so appealing to me.  it started with this one that i got at the last global bazaar.  i love the morrocan feel to it.

then today (on another clearance end cap) i spotted two more.  had to have them.  i think i'm starting a collection :)

i also got a couple of bowls and plates, and a plate, bowl, and cup set for jagger (all on clearance).  i think target may be a little bit dangerous for me.  those clearance sections just might do me in.  i could go every day and find something new to get.  i need to get a handle here, folks.  

moving on...

slade and i had a nice little errand run.  we stopped by the library and picked up some books, stopped by the scrapbook store and picked up some crafty stuff and then made the fateful trip to target.  it's always a good day when you find something good to get at every stop :) 

on a side note:  slade pulled himself up to a standing position from the floor for the first time ever today!  he's getting so big!
